Manage your ChildCare Log data

ChildCare Log gives users control over their app data from inside the mobile app, including care logs, child profiles, share codes, exports, reminders, and account deletion.

Pro users can export care data from Settings → Data Management as CSV or PDF. Exported files saved to your device or shared outside the app are outside ChildCare Log’s control.

Use Settings → Danger Zone to delete all care data or permanently delete your account. Delete All Data keeps your account and subscription active. Delete Account signs you out and attempts to cancel an active Stripe subscription when available.

Use Insights → Sharing to revoke active share codes. Share codes are child-specific and read-only. Deleting a child profile also revokes that child’s active share codes.

ChildCare Log gives users control over their app data from inside the mobile app.

This page explains how you can access, manage, export, delete, or request help with your data.

1. Access and Export Your Data

Sign in to ChildCare Log and go to:

Settings → Data Management

Pro users can export care data as CSV or PDF.

Exported files saved to your device or shared outside the app are outside ChildCare Log’s control after export.

2. Edit or Delete Individual Records

You can manage individual records inside the app.

To edit or delete a child profile:

Profiles tab → Select a child profile → Edit or Delete Profile

Deleting a child profile also removes that child’s associated logs and revokes that child’s active share codes.

To delete an individual care log:

Timeline tab → Open a log entry → Delete Log Entry

3. Manage Caregiver Sharing

Share codes are child-specific and read-only.

To manage share codes:

Insights → Sharing

You can revoke active share codes from the Sharing screen.

Revoked share codes should no longer provide shared access.

Deleting a child profile also revokes that child’s active share codes.

4. Delete All Care Data but Keep Your Account

To delete care data while keeping your account:

Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Data

You must type DELETE to confirm.

Delete All Data removes:

  • Child profiles

  • Care logs

  • Weight logs

  • Share codes

Delete All Data does not delete your account. It does not cancel your Pro subscription, if you have one.

If you want to cancel a subscription, use the Manage Subscription option in the app or the relevant payment provider’s cancellation process.

5. Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your account:

Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account

You must type DELETE to confirm.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your ChildCare Log account and app data and signs you out.

If you have an active Stripe subscription, ChildCare Log attempts to cancel it during account deletion when the subscription can be identified.

If you continue to see billing activity after deleting your account, contact support at support@childcarelog.cloud and review your subscription through Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play, or the payment provider used for purchase.

6. Manage Billing

Pro users can manage subscriptions from:

Settings → Manage Subscription

Billing may be handled by Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play, or another supported payment provider depending on where and how you subscribed.

Subscription cancellation, renewal, and refund rights may be governed by the provider used for purchase.

7. Password Reset

To reset your password:

Sign In → Forgot password?

You will receive a reset email if the account exists and email delivery is available.

8. Notifications and Reminders

Optional reminders can be managed in the app or through your device notification settings.

You can also disable notifications from your iOS or Android system settings.
